Synopsis::
Whilst in TV mode (with timeshifting turned on - not tested with timeshifting off) the TV randomly (anything from straight away to after several hours of watching) will start jittering (audio and video jumping) followed shortly afterwards by a "No TV Signal" message.
If I go back to the TV screen with the menu down the side and the TV playing in the medium sized window to the right and press STOP, the TV stops for a second then comes back on fine. It will then take anything from a few minutes to a few hours to happen again. This sometimes happens when the TV first comes on and it opens in a small window as part of the TV Guide, so it doesn't seem to be fullscreen related (it happens in either case).
The last time it happened I did the TV ! information screen, it shows the following:
FPS: 6 (ish)
Sync: 54 and rising
Drawn: 296 and slowly rising
Dropped: 8
Jitter: 206 and rising
This can be a real problem some days, and other days its fine. I have 2 tuners both Hauppauge 150PVRs I'm not sure if it is just one tuner that has the problem - is there any way to tell within MP what tuner is in use? Both tuners run off the same aerial feed and its a reasonably strong signal.
The logs don't have anything unusual in them. Any help that can be offered would be most appreciated.
Keep up the great work MP team!
Jon
P.S. I have been using MP regularly since v2.0, the problem has been there since I started using it, its not a new thing.
P.P.S. I've cleared my registry and start menu, nothing other than essential Windows services are running in the background.
