Firstly, this is not a rant - I LOVE MY HTPC & MediaPortal!!!!

I am noticing that there seems to be more and more issue with MP1 - they are all, IMHO, minor but together are quite annoying:

    1. MP crashes on first playing of music after a reeboot (this seems to do with the MilkDrop visualisation support and happens regardless f the source of the music)
Restarting after MP has failed and retrying the same things works.
    2. More and more films in 'My Videos' are missing details when searching for them in IMDB - usually the plot and/or synopsis is missing even thugh they are there in the IMDB itself.
    3. The 'My Trailers' plugin seems to have become defunct after a website change
    4. The colour of the font in the 'Sudoku' plugin is fixed - it's really difficult to read in the Monochrome skin (this is not a skin issue)
    5. The SVN update releases seem to be getting later and later...?

I don't want to be a pain, or upset the devs, but as I said these are all minor but frustrating

    Hi SpudR!

I don't think your post is regarded as a PITA :)

    1 - 4:
These are not in mantis; View Issues - MediaPortal Bugtracker
If a proper bug report is made, and gets confirmed by a tester (or any other Team Members) then the will get added.

5: Various reasons for this. We are aware of this, and although it is rather unfortunate - the SVN will come.

Now ... go make some good bug reports :D

How quickly have you got MP loading after booting, sounds like a driver has not fully started.

    2. More and more films in 'My Videos' are missing details when searching for them in IMDB - usually the plot and/or synopsis is missing even thugh they are there in the IMDB itself.

MP config\movies\database add imdb_com and then try searching, this seems related to something they have changed.

Yep, got some website problems at the moment, waiting for high to come back from his hols.

Anyone want to answer the other 2 :)

What's the procedure for reporting these correctly? I'd be more than happy if they were unique to me :)

    1. Doesn't appear to be a timing issue - I have tried it from immediately after boot to waiting for an hour after = same result.
    2. That's exactly what I do, mostly the plot is missing (now that's asking for a comment!)
    3. The 'My trailers' issue should be in Mantis by now - it's been quite widely reported... Here
    4. Just install Monochrome and try the Soduko game...
