i would unistall the mce replement drivers to start with.
MCE remotes should show up in device manager as ehome infrared reciever under USB controllers, They should work nativley without installing extra drivers.
check to see if thats your case, if it shows up as something different, it maynot be compatible.
thats all i did on mine and then selected mce remote in MP config, remotes section
the only other thing i had to do was install mptray, so that the green button would launch MP

I did that. It didn't work natively for whatever reason. I manually installed it using the irbus drivers in the i386\ServicePacks folder. Still not working but progress. With the replacement driver, the moment I hit a button on the remote, the red light on the receiver would light up and stayed lit. Now with the native driver, it blinks as it should but still no response.

So close I can taste it.Another issue I'm having is with TVSeries plugin. Once again, like before, when I try to play an episode, nothing happens. I've posted that in the TVSeries forum.
