Hmmm...I thought any DVB-S dual tuner could record anything so long as it was on the same transponder? The problem is when tuning to a different transponder is needed that you require the 'dual tuner'?

wasspeaking for dvbt. i don't know about sat. freeview hd in nz is on dvbt.

Oh right yeah DVBT is the same as you in the UK. Its pretty good. I have combined DVBT and DVBS because certain channels are scrambled on DVBS and are FTA on DVBT so just thought id merge both intorelevant 'groups'. I did a little test and using 8 DVBS and 4 DVBT tuners i tried to see how much i could record at once...

...A LOT...immense!

yes unless you have more than 15 clients i think it's pretty unlikely that you run out of tuners. if everyone is watching the same channel then i think it only uses the one runner.

Very true. Did some research on this and found half height PCI to PCI-E adaptors im tempted to try (if I have space).
