MediaPortal Version: RC3
Video Card: HD3200 Onboard
OS: XP MCE 2005 SP3
Video Card Driver: 8.10
ok... I am currently using powerdvd 8 codecs for dvd without h/w and every now and again, randomly, either thew video will just freeze or i will be forwarding and it wont stop or resume, both resulting in a hard restart... now i have tried powerdvd 7 codecs with h/w but these make the picture look really washed out... so... can someone tell me what things could cause this problem so i can try to fix the problem... i dont know if these, epg grabber/vmr9 etc... can cause this problem so if anyone could suggest what could cause it i can then change these things and try to fix it...

If you post your logs from after it crashes, it will be easier for someone to help you

no probs next time it crashes i'll post the logs... just one question... where are they saved
