Keyboard buttons not working (1 Viewer)

Windows Version: 7 Professinal
CPU Type: AMD Athlon 64x2 6000+ black
HDD: 2x 640GB WD Blacks in a RAID 0 Aray
Memory: 4GB Corsair
Motherboard: Gigabyte MA770-DS3
Video Card: ATI 4850 1GB
Video Card Driver: 9.9
Sound Card: Onboard Realtek

My keyboard has suddenly stop working in mediaportal, the media buttons on my remote still work and media portal itself still functions fine i just cant navigate the menus without using the mouse.

The config program flashed up an XML error which after a few attempts to fix i just backed up my databases and uninstalled media portal. i re-installed it and restored everything and the keyboard still doesnt work

FWIW I came across this thread after a similar issue so will add my fix here - check the Keymap.xml file - a working one is about 32 KB, my one was only 1 KB - simply restored from a backup and all went well again.
