The problem is that it is only possible to use the IMON manager for hibernate. In my configuration - using some resume support plugins - the MP internal shutdown/hibernate function has to be used to get all the reinitializing scripts working. However, in the IMON manager it is possible to map the power button specifically for MP and not for "global applications in Vista".
