Keyboard Shortcuts not working (1 Viewer)

Been a long time user of Mediaportal and just upgraded to v1 which is a great improvement!

The upgrade has been straightforward except I am struggling on using keyboard shortcuts- none of them work, not even the general cursor controls. It is not a focus issue and if I specially assign each key to its function under "Keys and Sounds" then the keyboard shortcuts work.

I have tried selecting "Use MCE remote or keyboard" and "general HID" but this doe not solve the issue. Any ideas what might be wrong?

I am am having the exact same problem. It worked fine on ultimate 64bit but have ust installed on business 32bit and none of the keyboard shortcuts, and hence my imon pad remte control, work!

by the way original keymap.xml is in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\
copy it to the user virtual store as in the post

I couldn't find the correct keymap file on my system folders (XP) - they were all 1kb and empty. I however opened a backup of my old MediaPortal 0.2.3 and used the keymap.xml file from there which works perfectly! It was 30kb...
