Hi,

has mp2 compülete keybord shortcuts like mp1? I use it with eventghost an there is no mp2 plugin at the moment. So i have to send keyboard shortcuts.
Mainly i need play, stop, context menu

the mp1 ones do not work...

For play/stop the MCE keys work (the MCE remotes are supported out of the box).

For other remotes you might need the IR-Server + the MP2 Client plugin. This allows to use much more remote types.

Stop a video Ctrl+Shift+S
Pause or resume a video Ctrl+P

does not work with mp2. Are they the right ones?

I think this are not the right ones.

Usually all up-to-date keyboards have multimedia keys (play, pause, skip), that are the one which should work. And those special keys are also used by remotes.
In our MCE remote plugin we can support following keys, which are then mapped to AppCommands:

Is there a plugin for keyboard shortcuts as well? I'd like to have a look at the code, maybe add some shortcuts.
Also it would be a good reference for an XInput (as in XBOX controller) plugin i think. Maybe I'll find some time to write one.

I would love this. At the moment i found no way to send things from eventghost to control mp2. The only keystrokes which are working ist up, down, left, rigt, enter, escape, and space for pause. Things like stop, menu, info are missing for me. (... or i dont know them ;-) )

You can try eventghost with other keys from known states:
"H" like home
"T" like TV
"G" like guide
(always use UPPERCASE letters)

ok, i got pause and stop working by sending
{MediaStop} or
{MediaPlayPause} with keystrokes.
