MediaPortal Version: 1.1.1
MediaPortal Skin: BlackGlass
Windows Version: XP / SP3

After updating to MP1.1.1, SAF5 and KeyboardInputPlugin (MPE-version) everything is fine, but the KeyboardInputPlugin does not work at Live-TV mode. At all other actions (radio, pictures, video, ...) it works fine and all keystrokes from remote handled correctly.
The following debug info is reported in Live-TV mode:

KeyboardInputPlugin: KeyboardHandler seems to be inactive; restarting

Any idea on that?

AW: KeyboardInputPlugin: KeyboardHandler seems to be inactive; restarting

Hi all,

found the solution for the plugin issue at Live-TV!
I've turned back the TV codecs from ffdshow to the formerly used codecs.
Don't know why the codecs blocks the remote.

If anyone interested in, I can reproduce this issue.

Me .. exactly the same. This Time with MP 1.2, SAF5.02 and KeyboardInputPlugin for MP1.2
Its seems here is a problem with ffdshow in SAF5.02.
On my second Configuration - MP 1.1, SAF4, KeybaoardInputPlugin for MP1.1 - no problems.
Maybe its time to send the Logs to HOBORG, he can help i hope..

Re: AW: KeyboardInputPlugin: KeyboardHandler seems to be inactive; restarting

The line 'KeyboardInputPlugin: KeyboardHandler seems to be inactive; restarting' is caused by Windows 7 disabling the keyboard interception handler because it doesn't respond in time. It could be, for example, that your CPU load is higher with a given codec, leaving the plug-in less CPU time to handle intercepted keys.

A work-around is to add a registry key to increase the Windows time-out; see https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...te-input-plugin-25755/index27.html#post626721 for details.
