KWorld remote and IRSS? (3 Viewers)

has anybody managed to get the remote from a KWorld card working with IRSS? This is my card and the remote software...

If any body can help this would be great! Can't find any info on it at all. If it helps the IR sensor attaches to the card like the compro and pinnacle cards and its based on a AF9015 chipset. The remote software that comes with it does not allow for any customisation at all. The only thing I can get it to do is launch WMC from within Windows. It doesnt seem to work like a keyboard.

If you can help or I can provide more info please let me know. Im sure there are lots of people with KWorld cards that would love to get it working with MediaPortal.

It seems to be the same card as the Dual Digital card here...

They are the same drivers but it has no more control over the remote. THey recommend using HIP for customising their remotes but I am using W7 x64 which HIP does not work with!

Nobody have any luck getting this remote working? If only this could be customised in some way!

kworld and girder if you want....

i put few plugin on girder forum, or try google: kword remote plugin, or kword plugin for girder.

Thanks i'll look into it. Thing is Girder costs $50 and I can just buy a decent remote for that!

I've not had any luck getting this working. Has anybody managed to get a KWorld device working with something other than MCE or TIVMe (their own software). Im sure the remote software could support it but they are relucatant to allow you to control any app.

I have to KWorld DVB PC160-2T. The drivers are the same for the 399U usb device so if anybody has got this working please let me know!

I've looked at getting IRSS to interpret the Windows MCE commands from the remote but to be honest I don't know where to start. IRSS seems very complicated and there is nothing in the way of proper documentation. I'm sure its great but I can't get it working.
