[no Bug] Last.fm not working (1 Viewer)

This happend within last few weeks (was not working in last SVN and possibly earlier)

Basically just enter last.fm screen and you get an error about not being connected. Try and play any stream and you get a bad / no content error.

From logs you have

But I can login to the Audioscrobbler plugin in config and this picks up my profile pic and I can do things like get my suggestions etc and this all appears to be working fine.

Hi,
Works fine here, make sure you put in username & pass for Scrobler if it was a fresh install.

As above username and password are set in scrobbler plugin. It picks up my profile pic and via the plugin I can access things like recomendations etc. Just not working through the plugin to play streams direct within MP

I am not at home to be 100% sure but I think I may have done something really stupid

I am thinking that I did put the wrong password in I think the process plugin is not actually validating the password and although it has picked up everything about my profile it is doing this without using my password??

Will check in the morning but think this is just my stupidity :sorry::sorry:

I've told you on IRC

The config does not need any password - the webservices are like the website: Even without auth details I can look at your profile and your avatar pic. That's what is displayed (even without a password configured).

If someone else stumbles upon the authentication failure: You might have restored / copied old settings from MediaPortal.xml
This contains your last active last.fm user. The credentials however are stored encrypted in the music database.
