I have downloaded & installed the latest CVS release. Everything appeare to work initially, but on 2 occasions now when I have scheduled a recording Media Portal crashes my system and causes a reboot. Has anyone else suffered from this & any ideas how to resolve as it does not crash every time

I am having the same problem (but on RC2). It has been happening pretty consistently now, and sometimes all I have to do is select the guide. I will also fill out a template this afternoon when I get home.

I'll post my log too when I get home, I was hoping this had been fixed in newer CVS (I'm using one from nearly 2 weeks ago).

It only seems to happen when my PVR500MCE switches from recording 2 programs to 1 while watching one, or 1 program to 2. As one channel stops recording to change channels while watching that channel, it bluescreens and restarts. Something like that anyway, nothing leapt out at me from the logs.

    Hi,

could be the Hauppauge Remote. Did you enable it? Please try disabling...

I have the MCE version, so it did not come with a remote. I use the MCE remote. And I made sure that the MP confguration does not have it enabled.

Today I grabbed the latest build from cvs, and now when I try to view TV it crashes MP (no reboot this time). I am starting to wonder if maybe its a 150MCE driver issue, so I am going to try to re-install them.

Here is the last few entries in my MediaPortal.log. Nothing looks strange:
