Afaik the MCE 1280x720 is not up to date. Some xml files are missing. Try another skin, with updated skin files.

Same CVS works fine for me - I'm using the BlueTwo skin. Keep in mind that the channel button is no longer a scrolling one, instead you click it and a dialog menu comes up.

The issue is solved with the most current version of the BlueTwo widescreen theme.
