Latest SVN (Rev9986) broke Hauppauge Remote (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

was using Rev9961 before where my remote used to work.
Yesterday I upgraded to Rev9986 which made my Hauppauge HVR-1300 remote stop working.
I took a look through the configuration but I dont get it there as it seems to be a problem in the source.

I hope you know, that svn isn't an upgrade. So sometimes not everything is working, because there is development in progress. "Downgrade" to the svn you used before. Perhaps that helps. I think svn problems are no bugs to post here.

You should use stable patches instead of svn. Then you will have less problems.

I tried to report a bug which occured while testing MediaPortal, I am still a fan of unstable versions.

No need for posting. That's known and affects large MP parts at the moment (No bug in the Hauppauge remote code...). Won't be fixed before next monday.

Hauppauge remote support was completely broken
undid: Service Provider to store Mediaportal Path Information. Allows usage of Custom Path for Logfiles, XML files, etc.

Looks like you're not very lucky these days... There are no public SVN builds at the moment, the bot seems to have problems. Bad thing is, High, the bot's owner is away over the weekend. Seems you gotta wait until monday despite of the fix... Or you compile on your own.

Since some months I reduced using svn snapshots. To much work.

The one I have in use is revision 9850 which is from Aug. 13th 2006, almost 2 weeks old. I would prefer to install the stable patches, but when the first one was released I had already a svn snapshot in use and didn't want to install new. So I decided to try each hundredth revision.

Ok, I'm a little bit behind, because there is already revision 10000 since yesterday. Congratulations! Do you celebrate this jubilee?

Perhaps the bot is not able to count higher than 10000.
