I almost got the same problem as you, But it is't related to mediahandler on my side.
When i disable fanarthandler the errors are gone.
I also have the same error in my error.log

2011-07-16 13:15:11.502060 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: OnMessage exceptionystem.DivideByZeroException: Poging door nul te delen.

When i Fire up mp and go to music all is fine, When i go back to the main screen and then go to the music i get the error.
Look at my screens, it looks almost the same.
And i got more than one artist

P.S.

Installed FanartHandlerForMP1.2-Beta_2.2.5.505 and my errors seems to be over.

Hi Holzi and dangerzone,

Thank you for your reports. I'm currently unable to reproduce your problem. Have you tested using a different skin (you are both in StreamedMP). Are you using MP1.2 Beta or SVN version?

Also, please include full logfiles (mediaportal.log and error.log) so that I can track down the error.

yes, i am using streamedmp.

but, tried it in the "defaultwide" skin and the error was there.
switched back to streamedmp and Installed FanartHandlerForMP1.2-Beta_2.2.5.505 and the errors are gone.
installed the latest streamedmp update and so far so good.
my guess is, that it is or was something in fanarthandler.

if the error comes back i will provide the full logs.

I'm now on SVN but the problem was with MePo 1.2.0 BETA. Then switched back to latest FanartHandler 2.2.5 and the problem is gone there. (MediaHandler disabled)
Will do some more tests tomorrow if I got time.

Hi Holzi,

Thanks for your feedback. It would be nice to know if all works when using FH 2.2.6 and the Latest Media Handler when you are now using MP SVN. I think it may be a problem when using MP1.2 Beta...

Hello!
I did a test and still exactly the same error. I'm on SVN 1.1.7.28083.
I attached a screenshot + the logs.
I think here is the problem:
2011-07-27 12:41:32.440384 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: GUIMusicFiles: An error occured while loading the directory Es wurde versucht, durch 0 (null) zu teilen.

One more question/issue I have. I want to use Fanarts from the Scorecenter folder shown in Radiotime and Music. They show and cycle fine as long as there is no artist/title info in Radiotime. As soon as there is one the screen turns into black. With this behaviour I can't get the fanarts from scorecenter to show and cycle in the music view at all. Because there is always artist and title info I constantly get a black screen instead of fanarts from scorecenter folder.

Update:
The error should be caused by LatestMediaHandler. When I disable Latest Music in the Config the error is gone and I can see my music.

Thank you for your help. I'm still unable to reproduce this error. But can you please test the attached version of FH and LMH and see if the problem still exists.

Hello!
I tested your new version for about an hour but still errors. I see my playlist in music view now, but when I start to play a song and then jump back to BasicHome I get a black screen.
But I also think this is a skin problem. I modified my BasicHome.xml for StreamedMP alot. With a freshly generated BasicHome.xml from StreamedMP Editor I can not reproduce this issue again.

Still.. the strange thing is that FanartHandler Plugin worked well with my modified BasicHome.xml before. Problem occured for the first time with LatestMediaHandler..


EDIT: Well.. I can still reproduce it with the freshly generate BasicHome.xml. Steps: Enter Music from BasicHome while playing a song. Jump back to basichome -> for a short time you see an"error message" which also appears when you want to join a view but the .xml file is missing. But it appears to short to be readable. Then black screen.


EDIT2: I also tested DefaultWide Skin but there is also strange behaviour going on.. Logs & Screens attached.

Hi,

What version of FH do work well for you? 2.2.5.xxx. Did the latest FH version 2.2.5.515 work for you (link)?

I really do not understand this as all the errors you post is from MediaPortals own logfiles and not the FH or LMH plugin logfiles... Yet the problems does not appear when you uncheck the latest music option in the LMH plugin? I will continue to investigate but don't have any ideas right now.
