LatestMediaHandler v1.6.1.0 (4 Viewers)

Hi,

Had some time to spare so decided to add some new functionality to the plugin and release a new version of LatestMediaHandler (v1.0.0.9). This version contains a new configuration option. You can now choose if latest music should be;
* latest added music
* latest played music
* most played music

This new option is available in the configuration of the plugin. No skin changes is required.

Hello, I get an error when I want to play something, started by LMH.

In the attachment the example for an album. I get somewhat the same error with movies.

I see there is something about OnlineVideos in the error. I think OnlineVideos has something to do with it.
I restarted MP and tried it again: No error
After that I played something started by OV: error!

And I fixed it! That was fast.. I was just lucky I think. My instinct told me that there was something wrong with the WiFiRemote plugin. I just disabled it and now everything works fine. Also fixed another problem for me.

A new version of LatestMediaHandler (v1.0.1.0) is now available. This version contains speed improvements in the implementation of latest media for MyFilms (thanks Guzzi for your help in this).

Hello cul8er,

i have a quest, but maybe this is the wrong place and the quest is right in skin section. But i will try it.

Is it possible that i can show the next 3 upcoming shedules in the home basic screen like latest series or movies ? Because I often forget to look to see if any shots, and than i turn off the htpc.Than a Info on the Screen was nice, and i can let the htpc go to s4 mode.

Hi,

A new version of LatestMediaHandler (v1.5.0.0) is now available. This version adds facade (list, filmstrip and coverflow) support to latest media handler. Please see the skinning guide for information on how to add this to your skin.

You can see this new functionality in action in the Avalon MOD that I will release in a day or two, will be available in the Avalon subforum.

Interesting observation: I've been having Out of Memory errors for several weeks and am in the process of isolating which plugin it might be. FanArtHandler is implicated in a number of them but it's not conclusive so I'm not pointing fingers yet. But, in investigating the problem I noticed that the MP Extension Installer doesn't show LatestMediaHandler in the list of installed plugins, though FAH is there.

I believe FAH (and, I assume LMH) were installed as part of StreamedMP, which means that StreamedMP may not be adding LMH to the list of extensions that are installed. Just a theory.

I also noticed that the version of LMH that I had installed as 1.0.7 - quite old. I've now installed 1.5 and will run for a while to see if the errors continue.
