LAV Filters: Audio delay introduces periodic video pauses (1 Viewer)

I use LAV Filters and the EVR renderer for MediaPortal on my HTPC. I was trying to apply a delay to the audio by using the option in the LAV Audio configuration window but unfortunately it doesn't seem to play nice with MediaPortal. If I enable a delay of 280 ms (what my AVR/TV combo needs), the video playback just pauses every few seconds. At first I thought it was a GPU issue (every now and then I get stuttering playback where the only cure is a reboot) but this is 100% repeatable: enable audio delay and the issue occurs, disable it and it goes away.

This doesn't happen in other programs using LAV Filters like MPC-HC. I'd be interested to see if anyone else has the same issue.

No, it won't be in MP 1.10 (it has at least one problem that I know of, and it needs to go into Area 51 testing first)
