LAV Video Config (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

I am having problems trying to open the LAV Video Configuration. When I click on it (under the programs list), nothing happens at all. This is only happening on my kitchen client.

I have uninstalled and then reinstalled LAV, but still the same thing happens - or, more accurately, not happens.

I need to set LAV to use CUVID.

Is there another way of doing this?

via GraphStudio maybe ? (the insert filter dialog - select LAV video and then open the properties page)

Maybe an uninstall - reg clean - reinstall might fix it ?

Hi Porky

Use graphstudionext (graphstudio may also work), run it and go to the filters tab, choose manage favourite, when that opens add filter, a list of codecs will open, choose Lav Video, now use the properties page button, this will open Lav config.

That strange maybe a setup (LAV issue).

You can setup codec filter directly within MP configuration program.
Maybe it can solve your avi issue too

I did as PD suggested (aove) and the LAV config screen opened without problem. LAV now set to use CUVID

LAV video filter used to be separate from LAV CUVID video filter but now they are all in one filter
go to the properties page inside the filter(use graphstupidnext [in SAF 6.0]) there u can set which video filter it should use
nvidia uses CUVID, ati does not
