LifeView PCI Hybrid Card, not tunning (1 Viewer)

Hi there everyone!

I have a bit of a problem with my TvCard, I think due to buying a cheap one. The thing is with the software provided works alright, but when I installed MediaPortal, I set everything up, (I can see mkv's and avi's, etc) my tv card, which is detected won't find any channels available.

I do the set-up wizard, and when I input my area, it freezes on "now scanning for new channels..."

"Transponder 810 MHz Bandwidth 8Mhz Blocking...."

Am I the only one using LifeView Notonlytv? or am I doing anything wrong?

Hi, thanks for the tip, but still won't go.

Where it used to freeze saying "no channels found" now it seems to find 7 channels (out of 43 amongst tv & radio) but it freezes again there.

I am quite frustated, I have also tried TV Server, which seemed to find all channels, but when I start MP after doing the search, it crashes unexpectedly and it won't show the found channels afterwards.

Any other idea? Could it be my Tv card to blame?

Did you delete any TVCard from within MP's own inbuilt TVEngine before installing TVServer as there can be a conflict.

Also did you set this up as a hybrid card as per TV-Server/Configuration/TVServers/HybridCards - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation.

Brilliant!!

It has tunned all channels, but now I am on the next level problem. My remote control is none of the supported ones, and I'd like to configure it to work with MP on the best way possible. Right now, I can't use volume, channel and options buttons.
