I've tried to install the latest version (x86 1.39), but the install of the tvengine plugin fails and I must download it manually. But the link to the package is broken (404 error) so I cannot continue with the installation. Where can I download the tvengine package for this version?

It comes with an installer. I'm not sure if it's available as a separate download via the link.
Check the temporary folder (%TEMP%); during installation, there's a folder named “Mediaportal” (it may have prefixes or suffixes), and inside that, I think there's a folder called “packages” or something similar, which contains all the basic packages.

I've just installed the software on a clean device, so no upgrade from 1.38.003. This worked like it should with no error. I cancelled the installation on the device where I got the error message. I will try to update the software later this day and I will update this call with the results. If I get the same error message, I will upload the message in this thread. Thanks for now.

The installation was at first not good. I've attached the error message that I got when I start Mediaportal configuration. I tried reinstalling version 1.39, but that didn't work. The install claimed that version 1.39 of the tv plugin was installed, but it wasn't. Finally I've downgraded to 1.38.003 and after that I did the upgrade to 1.39 which worked.
