Listen Music with mp4 Videos (1 Viewer)

Hey,

i updates at the weekend from MP 1.2.3 to 1.3.0

It works all Fine, nice new Skin, everything went ok

But now i have a problem with my musics.

I have mixex mp3´s with mp4´s vids in one Folder.

With 1.2.3 I played one folder (for example January 2013) and then MP played all mp3´s and all mp4´s.
The mp4´s was played Music Tone AND the Video (Music Videos from yout....)

But with 1.3.0 there is only the sound no Video/Drawing/Picture...

Im very sad because that

How can i just fix it?

did y have an Idea?

It seems that you have mp4 as an exension in Music.
remove it from there and then the mp4 is played as video

Nope.
We have made some changes for 1.4, so that both mp4 Music and mp4 Video can be played from the same folder.
If it is a mp4 video it will be played as Video otherwise as Music.

Hi, when i delete the exension .mp4 in the config, then the music dont show in mp. I see nothing then

So is that fact that this is a "bug" in 1.3.0?
Or is there still Problems with the lav Filters and that configs (check/uncheck in the lav configs etc.)

Is that mp4 Problem in Music already fixed in the 1.4.0 beta?

It was never meant to be this way.

the problem is that mp4 is used for both music and Video.
So when you start an mp4 file from within My Music it is treated like Music. i.e. the Music Player is used and you don't see any videos.
In 1.4 we are checking in case of MP4, if it contains video content and invoke the Video player instead of the Music player.

I prefer that way in 1.4.0 because it is cool when we hang around with my friends and i can play mp3 and mp4 Videos all together in "my music"
