Hi,

i'm again. I'm installed saf 6 and tested live tv with ffdshow. With ffdshow i have live tv freezese after one second but i can go back im mp but when i switch the channel mp closes automatically.

When MP freezes, do you hear some sound (I think from channel)? If no, you can have same problem as I have in this thread. To second problem (closing MP) - I have same problem when changing from HD to SD channel (H264 to MPEG2). MP cannot free ffdshow DXVA Video Decoder and crashes. Only solution, which I found, is not changing channels from HD to SD. I first manually stop watching HD channel and after this I start watching SD channel.

I see in your logs that you were switching from 'Das Erste HD' to 'zdf_neo' (in this moment MP crashed). I suppose that MP was "frozen" (video stopped, audio running) on first channel (Das Erste HD), but you didn't see if second channel (zdf_neo) works. Could you try only 'zdf_neo' if it works?

after 10 min live tv (zdf_neo) no freezes with the sd channel.

The FFDShow DXVA crashing problem should be fixed in the current SVN code - 0003625: FFDShow DXVA video decoder can cause crash-to-desktop when removed during graph rebuilding - MediaPortal Bugtracker - are you still getting the problem ?

Actually on my testing computer (with MP 1.2.0 Beta, SVN 28114) ffdshow DXVA Video Decoder doesn't work. On my computer with TV I have MP 1.1.3 and I have ban from my girlfriend to install MP 1.2.0 until is stable. So, on MP 1.1.3 it didn't work and on MP 1.2.0 I can't test

It seems that you have codec problem related to HD TV. Which version of ffdshow do you have?

in the changelog of saf6 stays:
- FFDShow updated to rev.3940
- LAVF updated to .30

I don't see any other way how to help you except one - saving raw TS file from TvService and trying codecs with GraphStudio (you can find it here).
