Live Tv from web sites? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for a solution to watch live web-based TV in MediaPortal. In my case, a good example would be the feeds from Swisscom. This serves two purposes: 1. I can watch TV when the satellite feed fails (eg in a storm) and 2. I can pick up a few channels that are encrypted via satellite (e.g. French TV).

I thought this would be something easy to set up in MP, but my searches through these forums didn't give me an easy answer. I do not have a proper DVB-IP/IPTV feed, so this doesn't work directly in the TV setup. I thought the OnlineVideos plugin would give me what I want, did this appears to be video downloads only, not live TV.

Am I missed something obvious? Can anyone help?

online videos can work with live video streams. I've used it in the past with twitch.tv

im pretty sure at this stage tv server doesn't support any internet based video streams.

I'm prepared to give this another go, but I can't see how to "program" OnlineVideos to get (for example) Swisscom TV working. Any genius' out there?
