    Hi,
due to problems described here (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/1-0-rc1-svn-builds-270/video-ok-sound-fast-forward-38567/) I let Filmerit look for potential errors and auto correct them. Since then I experience a new problem: Live TV first plays fine, but then stops with the last picture after a few minutes. MP is fully functional however, i.e. you can switch to a different channel and repeat the effect. This happens regularly, even after Windows restart.

I found that after TV has stalled the file size of the buffer file in ...\MediaPortal TV Server\live1-0.ts.tsbuffer1.ts is always exactly 250.000 kB . Does this indicate where the problem may be located?

Should I do a complete Mediaportal reinstall?

    Hi,
Attach the logs as required for a bug report or it will be deleted...
It's the only way to see what the problem is.

    Regards

Ok, here we are - Logs are attched now.

    Procedure:
Starting MP, activating live TV until stall, switching live TV off then on again until stall, repeating this, then switching to HDTV channel and activating live TV until stall, then exiting MP. The time to stall with HDTV was ablut half of the time to stall with SDTV.

On exiting MP I got this error message:

MediaPortal.exe - Fehler in Anwendung : Die Anweisung in "0x0a386775" verweist auf Speicher in "0x12c53c70". Der Vorgang "written" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher durchgeführt werden.

(sorry for the original message in German, but I didn't want to confuse you with a bad english translation)

When watching videos, the video runs fine. No stops.

    So, should I reinstall everything?

Ok, thanks for keeping this post in the forum.

To make it comply with the bug posting regulations, I attached a full log file created by the test tool.

    The sequence was
    - Start MP
    - Go to TV, switch on live TV
    - wait until TV freezes
    - stop live TV
    - Close MP

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
I think I found the reason: Insufficient disk space! (Oh boy, I should have thought of this earlier...)

Obvously TV Server could not create more than one single tsbuffer file then the partition was full. The reason being immense amount of leftover files in \windows\temp and ...\Documents and Settings\... folders. So watch out for the accumulating file garbage after updates, windows crashes, and more....
