Live TV in HD jerks (1 Viewer)

Somehow when I tune to Discovery HD, the playback is jerky. It runs ok for about 1 second, then pauses for 1/2 second over and over again.
When I do a recording and play the recording back, all is ok.

I'm using Mediaportal 1 RC 1 with CoreAVC.
