Live TV keeps scrobbling when switching to Recorded TV (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Not sure if I am doing something wrong but I have problems with scrobbling after watching live tv/using the epg, have tried default and titan skin and get the same problem

I watched an episode of The Big Bang theory S4E21 via live TV (12:00 to 12:30), this has scrobbled perfectly

After this I went to watch a recording of NCIS
MediaPortal log shows that I started watching this (series/episode info is correct for this recorded file)

Instead of scrobbling the details of the recording I am watching, it is scrobbling data from live tv, which is another episode of Big Bang Theory which is on 12:30 to 13:00
I have noticed this happen before, when watching a recording after viewing live tv, it scrobbles whatever is currently airing on the channel last tuned to instead of the recording being played, I didn't watch any of the S4E22, this just happened to be on while I was watching the recording

Any thoughts on this, not sure what files you need but below is the end of the trakt log file, need any more logs please let me know

Can you attach the full traktplugin.log and mediaportal.log file?

I dont have a tuner card currently so have not been able to test LiveTV/Recordings for a while.

Looks like you gave me the wrong log files, I need the ones that you used in your first post. Check the timestamp.

Probably easier for you just reproduce again and then post the log files after that (might as well switch to debug logging in that case), whatever is easier. I will see if I can figure out whats happening from the log snipet you posted.

I tried to work out what was happening from the the log snipet you provided in the first post but it looks like I would need debug log severity set to see what's going on. You can change to Debug logging in MediaPortal Configuration -> General -> Log Verbosity.

Even better, you can start MediaPortal in debug mode using the shortcut 'MediaPortal Watchdog' and selecting the second option. This is the best way to report issues or get help as it gives the developer everything, all you need to do is reproduce your issue and then close MediaPortal and upload the zip file generated to your forum post.

Sorry for giving the wrong files, thanks for trying with what I gave

hopefully these will give more information, I used the MediaPortal Watchdog program

About 9:14 I looked at the last channel I had on (episode of Special Unit 2 airing, S1 E05), this started to scrobble to Trakt
After about 5 mins I put a recording on (NCIS S11 E04)
I monitored Trakt for around 5 mins and it still logged that I was watching Special Unit 2

Hey @pauls67,

I think I know what the problem is and will work on a fix, I might need to wait until I get a Tuner card though before I attempt it so I can properly test it, if not I will give you a test build.

To work around the issue now I think you can change the order of which the plugin checks where something is scrobbled from...Can you enter the trakt configuration and move My TV Recordings higher up than My TV Live. I think that might workaround your issue for now, so give it a try until I fix the root cause.

I went into the configuration and move the My Recordings higher up than My Live TV, as far as I can see this has resolved the issue, looked at a bit of live tv and then watched a few recordings, everything is working as expected now

If you do create a test build with a fix for this (I am happy with making recordings a higher priority than live tv as now), then I will gladly test it out for you
