Hi all,

I am a long time MP1 user and have recently repaved a new HTPC and installed MP2, however live TV is not working. All channels have been scanned, EPG data is showing in MP2, but the issue is when selecting a channel from the guide nothing happens. I have listed my setup steps below.

If anyone has any suggestions or troubleshooting tips that would be much appreciated. My gf is back from the hospital today after a minor op and she is going to kill me if the TV isn't working! :)

Setup steps:
Win10 x64 clean install
MP2 summer install
Scanned all channels successfully
Installed MPExtended Service 0.5.4 (http://www.**************/download-service.html)
Registered "C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins\VideoPlayers\TsReader.ax"
Applied MP Extended plug-in (https://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/mp2-plugins/slimtv-mpextended)

The following link mentions deleting the admin account under Authentication and creating another, however I am not sure where to enter the new login details.

Hi,
Why do you use MPExtended.
MPExtended is required only if you have already installed MP1 tvserver.

Hi Jean. Thanks for coming back

I thought that MPExtended was required for a MP2 only install, I must have misread some of the posts on here.

I have uninstalled MPExtendedMPExtended but still nothing happens when selecting a channel to show.

Any ideas on how to best trouble-shoot this?

Uninstalling/reinstalling the above build didn't make a difference, however deleting 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal' during another uninstall/reinstall did. There were some plug-in files left in this folder after the second uninstall, which were from my earlier attempts to get it working. Not sure if these were to blame or if the issue was with the previous summer 15 build, but I'm not going to try and replicate the issue :)

Thanks again
