Hi all, I am new to MediaPortal, I have a few questions:

1. Can I watch LiveTV with TimeShift DISABLED? When I turn off timeshift, the TV turn stutter in a few second, then the sound is gone. If I turn the timeshift back on, everything goes normal again.

2. Timeshift, The program crashed in some 30minutes, It appears the HDD is full because the timeshift buffer? (this always happened)

3. As I understand, MP is a dotNET application, If I run MP on .Net 2.0 on Windows X64, will it run in 64bit mode?

my H/W:
fusionHDTV DVB-T plus PCI, v3.11 BDA/WDM WHQL driver
geforce6600GT, v81.85 WHQL driver
AMD x2 3800+
2x1G RAM
160G WD SATA2 HDD
Windows XP Pro (x86 SP2 and x64 SP1 on 2 partitions)

    Hi,

please fill out the support template. There are still some informations missing to give you easier support.

    1)
    Which MP version?
    What codecs do you use?
Take also a look into these threads:
    http://nolanparty.com/mediaportal.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8146
    http://nolanparty.com/mediaportal.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8303

    2) See 1)
Also: Is your HD full or does it just seems so? :) You can set the recording / timeshift path in Setup->Television->Card->Edit->Recordings

    3) I assume yes. But since MP is compiled against .NET 1, it would not work, yet. But MP will be set to .NET 2 as soon as possible.

    Flip.
