It looks like there is a problem with the PCR timestamps in the recording - can you try the attached TsReader.ax and attach the logs please (when playing the local file).

    Tony

Right now i´m on 1.2.3 on Server and Client.
Have found out that the "Zap" Problem occours only on one or two Channels (RTL Television is one of them)

I will try the tsreader as soon as possible.

This does not work. (Not on LiveTV and not on the Recording)

    TSReader Log is attached.

    Hello Brudertac

@Owlsroost: do you think the problem is in TsReader, or could it be upstream - some PCR timestamps being ignored?

I don't know at the moment - in the log from the recording it looks like the initial duration measurement is correct (4318 seconds duration seems sensible), but the seeks are failing to find a sensible PCR anywhere near the initial estimated target point in the file (it gives up after 50 attempts).

Could you please provide the TsWriter log, and also a short stream dump:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/18_Contribute/4_Development/Debugging/TS_Dumps

    30..60 seconds should be enough.
This will allow us to test and find the problem easier.

Brudertac - Could you make the recording a couple of minutes please (just so it's long enough to jump around sensibly) ?

    Tony

Thanks for the ts dump file - it plays and seeks OK in MP, so the problem may be at the TV server end of the system (the ts dump files have the original stream timestamps etc - normally the timestamps are modified by TV server)

Can you upload a short (1-2 min) recording file from the same channel to the FTP site please ?

    Thanks for the recording

It may take a while to work out where the problem is (and fix it properly), but attached is a TsReader.ax with a workaround which should allow you to skip around (with lower accuracy than normal) in the 'problem' channels. Just unzip it and copy it into C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal (it is compatible with MP 1.2.3 and 1.3.0)
