************** JIT-Debuggen **************
Um das JIT-Debuggen (Just-In-Time) zu aktivieren, muss in der
Konfigurationsdatei der Anwendung oder des Computers
(machine.config) der jitDebugging-Wert im Abschnitt system.windows.forms festgelegt werden.
Die Anwendung muss mit aktiviertem Debuggen kompiliert werden.

Zum Beispiel:

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

Wenn das JIT-Debuggen aktiviert ist, werden alle nicht behandelten
Ausnahmen an den JIT-Debugger gesendet, der auf dem
Computer registriert ist, und nicht in diesem Dialogfeld behandelt.

Hi there

Seems like you have unicode characters coming through the logs and the logging doesn't like it. Is your OS language set to German?

This is a strange problem but like I said before, I think the unicode characters in the logging are causing problems. Try changing the OS language temporarily to English and see if it resolves the problem. Of course that is not a good permanent solution. The MediaPortal client is not my speciality, and localisation issues can be tricky. I am hoping one of the German members of the team can offer better advice. It might be a good idea to post the question in the German section of the forum as well and see if you get any response...

Hi Helios61,

I don't know if this will help but a long while ago I had an issue where the log collector crashed every time.

I moved all existing logs to a folder away from where they were and the log collector started working again. I suppose it was a corrupted file (or some sort of file permission issue) causing the problem for me.

May be worth a try deleting or moving all existing logs.

Thanks for your reply! I have tried it again and, it's strange, it is working! What i have done: First i have deleted all old log, as recommendet . And then i have run the debug-mode "as administrator", and now it is working fine!
