This way, the kids always get a recent copy of the database, which they can trash if they want, but will always be replaced by a central copy at next log onIt appears the slow downs occur because MP/Moving Pictures/TV-Series, make repeated attempts to access the database before giving up and moving on - which in my case took several minutes.
