I'm not actually using MPA, I typically only use Mediaportal with Nvidia codec, but I did try MPA to see if it would work, unfortunately alll codecs seem to have the same problem.
So it appears that the issue is somewhere in the myTV core. I will work through the old SVNs (and CVSes
) to see if I can find the specific version the problem was introduced, and work from there.
As I said I have it working now with Nvidia codec so long as I run it in SPDIF ProLogic mode I lose AC3 throughput, but at least I can pause now
