    Hi
I am either loosing the TV service which is running, i.e. I am watching it and the picture freezes and nothing more is received, or if I try and start the system I get no signal. This usually seems to happen when I try and start the TV late afternoon and the problem will have gone around 7.00pm, when with no change everything works. Today being the weekend I tried starting the TV in the morning and it started as normal with no problem until it froze around 11.00am and after several reboots I just get the "no signal" error. I expect after 7.00pm the problem will have gone and the TV will work as normal.

Removed the TV server and MySQL, using Windows control panel, including database, and reinstalled using Mediaportal install exe.
I can open TV Server config while I have the error and can scan for channels which are seen.
I have changed both the gentle files to both PC name and IP.
    Disabled the EPG
    Tried new .ts file

Any ideas would be wonderful, its not too bad as I know it will work shortly, but a bit embarrassing if there are others wanting to watch.

    Thanks for your assistance

An update on this no service after 7.00pm, rescanned TV channels, no service, rebooted PC and back working.
I have been using Mediaportal since 0.2.3 and have had problems up until this one. It started around November 2012, and a couple of reboots would get things working as they should. These reboots have stopped working and until today the TV service seemed to work after 7.00pm. I have considered the firewall but all seems fine there.
    Thanks for your assistance

These are the logs for when it is working and then suddenly just freezes. Strangely it does not do this during evening TV viewing.

    Thanks

Just for anyone else who has a similar problem this was caused by a hot summer, TV worked until things got hot, and then worked again once the evening cool arrived, faulty LNB. Replaced LNB with a new one and TV is back working as it should be.
