Losing sound (1 Viewer)

Does anyone else here have an issue of losing sound when they pause a DVD, and then resume play?

Everytime I pause a DVD, i have to stop it, go to TV or something else that has sound, and then go back into the DVD and resume play again.

Just a little annoying. I have changed codecs and all that jazz too....

is it possible it is my reciever? (i am sending audio ac3 from spdif)

I've got the same problem. Try enabling ac3filter on the DVD settings in the mediaportal setup.

If that doesn't help, download and install ac3filter (v1.x) that solved the problem for me ( although it introduced a lot of other problems, but I can live with those).
