I added a new hd to my htpc & partitioned the the original one, & now I don't get AC3 passthrough. I'm using the on-board sound of my MSI K8NGM2 mobo.
When I first built it, passthrough worked right away. I've checked the Realtek settings, checked AC3Filter & reinstalled the Realtek drivers, but to no avail.
My receiver sees the sound since the front panel shows icons for all channels, but there's no volume. On the htpc's volume control, the spdif control is greyed out.
I'm at a loss. Any help would be much appreciated.
