Strange one this I hope someone can help with.

Setup a basic HTPC last year, which has been working well. I mostly wanted it for the Large music collection I have, and it has been working without fault for over six months.

But, at the moment when I start the HTPC, and select music, it only sees about 50 albums of the 1000 plus on the hard drive.
(It actually reads from P forwards)

I have gone to configuration / Music / Music database, and deleted the music folder.
I re-entered the music folder, and followed the 'Update database from selected shares' button, but I still get the same result in the music libary of only seeing from P forwards !

I have ensured the actual files are still present in "My Music", and play without fault.

I'm starting to think a fresh install is the way forward, but it took me so long to get it all working how I wanted I will to avoid that if possible.

Can anyone offer any assistance plesse ?

Regards,
Andy

Hi Andy, welcome on the forum :)

Maybe try to delete your music database before you rescan. Perhaps it is corrupt.

If it still does not work, attach full log files and even screenprint of your configuration screen.
