Like the title say, I have I lot of compensating for late b-frame in tsreader, dont now if this is a bug, but it looks like when the compensating becomes to big, MP freezes. As you can see in the logs, the compensating is increasing all the time.

Hope someone can look into my logs and see if it shall be like this.

I can upload a small sample if you need that.

Likely to be bad signal. Check your connections and that you are receiving a decent strength signal

It doesn't look like that, if you check the logs you will see this

    2010-05-14 22:10:24.406061 [(11)]:**************************************************
    2010-05-14 22:10:24.408061 [(11)]: ***** SIGNAL LEVEL: 100, SIGNAL QUALITY: 84 *****
    2010-05-14 22:10:24.410061 [(11)]: **************************************************

So, you mean that it has to be better than that?

Does it have to be 100 on both then?

Should it be the same when I watch recording also then, because I have a lot of compensating for late b-frame when I watch recordings from that same channel?

Those are just the number reported by the driver and might not actually relate to anything.... I used to have a card which always had a level of 90%+ and 60% quality when there was no aerial plugged in.... and surprisingly no signal ;)

You don't have any signal booster / amplifiers do you that could be making a poor signal stronger?

Also I notice you have multiple DVB-S(2) and DVB-C cards are they all problematic? or just one

OK, I understand about the signal strength, but should it be the same when I watch recordings from that card to?
    Just curious.
The one that I've tested in these test are the DVB-C card.

    EDIT

Did a short test with DVB-S and it looks the same.
