Not sure if this is the correct forum, I did do a search but did not find my exact problem, and it may not be a problem
I have XP sp2 installed via Boot camp on a C2D mac mini. I also have a mini toslink adapter and connected the mini to my dennon (3808CI) receiver.
MP can play DVD's and I get audio but I do not think its Dolby Digital. Normally when I play a DVD from a DVD player/360/PS3 the back lit words on my receiver switch from PLIIX to Dolby digital. with MP it stays PLIIx
I have not verified that the DVD is actually DD 5.1 but it is season 3 of Battlestar Galactica and I cannot imagine it is not.
I will try a DVD I know to be DD 5.1 but is there anything any body here can suggest I do?
