Can someone have a look eventually at *.ax files during upgrades?
This issue is preventing us from proper testing, i don't mean now but generally at some point
As far as i understand it happens with master installer aswell, it is clearly some kind of a bug. --- Post updated ---
With the latest build that has the modified version everything is working.
So i don't enable "Exclusive Mode" and deinterlacing is working.
From Progressive ---> Interlaced and from Interlaced ----> Progressive!!
BTW the madVR starting from TOP LEFT corner is also fixed and i confirm it now starts like EVR.
Later will test some 3D, but for now TV is working, i can feel it @Sebastiii u are close to EVR stability!!!
We have always the issue that Garbage Collector or MP try to release a memory already released etc. and can lead to MP crash (most of the time on stop but can be on start because the release is done async in a thread from NET friend! !!!!!!)
Hi
Do you have 4K monitor?
Looking to your madvr status I can see downscale to 1080p. It looks like but not sure. On my 4K projector its happening the same.
Can you please confirm?
yap i have but not at home, so that 100% usage is quite normal
the problem is the hevc codec with the high bitrates, atm no way to play it smooth without full hardware acceleration even on 5 ghz^^
Sad to say but it looks like I will no longer be able to participate further with the testing of this wonderfull improvement. I have come under increasing WAF pressure to implement the German DVBT2 HD channels now available with Owlsroost's HEVC package. Unfortunately the madvr OV setup is not compatible with the standard MP 1.15 and the HEVC package making not possible, without abadoning OV, to run both test versions in tandom. Since OV is very important for me I was faced with the choice of using the superb madvr for really outstanding video enhancement and 3D playback or viewing some TV channels in full HD, also it is probably not a good idea to mix the two test projects, so I have decided on the HD TV. I will keep an eye on things here and hopefully soon the HEVC TV project will be included in a full release giving the opportunity to rejoin with the testing if still needed.
Yep, i understand you, this is why i have merged most of branch into one for testing and use all but in normal rules of testing it's better to stick with one branch at the time
Or have 2 rigs lol
Good luck
About testing, it's easy to create multi folder under MP prog folder and you have just to rename when doing test
What i'm doing is to have something working.
Create a backup folder and/or a reference one and when doing upgrade i always have a backup, not easy to explain lol.
Edit : i hope that we can merge some stuff to master soon
