Hi,
I've been using Meedio for a while, but with their recent announcements I have been looking at MP, and I have a few (hopefully simple) questions.

1. I am trying to customise the items in the main menu and disable the scrolling, but when scrolling is disabled the order displayed is not the same as in the Home Setup dialog | Menu Structure tab (in the MP - Setup application). How do I specify the order of the items displayed in the menu?

2. If I go to the Settings menu item a sub menu is displayed, but the items in the sub menu are repeated. i.e. Tools, Settings, back, Tools, Settings, Back etc. How do I stop them from being repeated.

Info about my setup:

I have added the entry
no
into MediaPortal.xml as I don't like the "My" prefix everywhere.

I have a fresh install of 0.2.0.0 RC4, and have not applied any overnight builds, or installed any additional plugins.

I am using the default BlueTwo skin.

Thanks in advance

Try enabling the basic home screen, might be more to what you want anyway, hey and no mucking about.

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the order of these main menu items? In the options under plugins, I can drag them to the end of the list one by one, but it seems to randomly change the way they are displayed, and then when I close the main prog and go back to the setup options app, the order has changed completely again, to what looks like a random order.
    Thanks.

You should be able to change the order of the home menu items in the "Home Setup".

Make sure that you select the "Use Menus {custom menus}" option under the "Menu Structure" tab, drag the menu items into their new order/position and then click on the "Save" button before you exit the Home plugin .... :)

I can't quite figure this out.

When I right-click on "Home" in plugins and go to preferences, it gives me the option to "fix scroll bar" I thought this would get rid of the scrolling part of the Home menu, but it did not. I can't really figure out what it has fixed.

It keeps (fixes) the scroll bar in the centre of the Menu and allows the titles to scroll around instead.

    Oh, that's pretty good actually.

But there is no way to fix the menu items where they are permanently, and have only the selection portion move?
