Main menu (2 Viewers)

Can someone help me please everything was fine in mediaportal untill today i have tried everything i know(witch is limited) to fix this but the main menu´s just showing the upper half and the bottom is black i know it sounds like tearing but all video is fine

You really need to supply your log files and even better, fill out the support template so we know what your hardware and software is.

At a (huge) guess, it sounds like you may an video (TV/DVD, etc) being displayed over the top of the menu. What have you changed? Are you running an SVN version now?

hehe but hey I fixed it I just upgraded to vista ultimate so no props anymore thanks anyway but i think it was something vlc media player was acting funky too

I think you have a corrupted DX9 installation, but sounds a bit late, as you have resolved the problem by installing Vista (DX10 overwrites existing DX9 files).

If WMP will not work, then MP which relies on WMP will also not work, again this is for the benefit of anyone else with a similar problem who reads this.
