Make a way for MediaPortal to track what episodes of a series have already been recorded

Description:
Make a way for MediaPortal to track what episodes of a series have already been recorded so you don't have to manually delete duplicated episodes. I believe this occurs when you choose "record everytime on this channel" or the similar wildcard options, and likewise, it doesn't record something that you already watched and deleted a while ago.(media center edition 2005 maintains it in an xml file I think, under All Users\Application Data\ehome\epg.xml)

I think the guys have been trying to do this, but the problem is that sometimes the tvguide data does not have enough details to distinguish between different episodes.

I agree though, this is definetly useful
