Make my 5.1 sound to 2.0 (1 Viewer)

Hi
I have right now no surround system so I use my TV own audio system and that is 2.0

The problem I think I have is when I play some movie that is in 5.1 I have very hard time to hear what they say or the sound effect. But I hear the music very good.

I was thinking if I have make my sound go in 2.0 so I can hear everything.

I have SAF install and I have not change any config yet because I have just reinstall my MP

It depends what audio codec you are using. Most have an option for downmixing - you can downmix to 2.0 easily and this will fix your problem. Pick your codec and then let us know what it is and I am sure you will then be given some pointers.

Well right now I have "Elecard Audio Decoder" but I have also "LAV Audio Decoder"

Hmm I don't think LAC Audio Decoder can't downmix the channel

I use now CyberLink Codec and now everything works nice
