Synopsis::

When I try to edit the movie database, I think I have to be at Setup-Movies-Database.
In the "Editor" tab I can only see one movie. I can change everything I want for that movie. To go to another one, I think I have to click "Lookup" in the "Title" subtab.

When doing so, MP generates an error, (JIT dialog log below, sorry, I don't have a clue what is irrelevant, so it's a long one), after which the database editing screen is greyed out. I can continue in other sections of setup.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

MP log generates no errors. It happened here (between 2nd and 3d line):

11/14/2005 11:18:58 PM video database opened

:oops: :oops:
Rather dumb.
For those who couldn't find it as I couldn't:
In Setup-Movie-Movie Database, tab Editor The upper text box "title" isn't a text box, but a drop down. A new entry may be added by "new", bottom of the list.

By the way, still remaining is an error if a title containing a quote is fed into the IMDB lookup.

I ended up doing a clone disk recovery. I had just done a backup, and I figured I might as well test it -- it's been a while since I've gone through the recovery process. All good. :) I had the logs, but lost them in the recovery. Sorry. :( I believe the issue was that I had removed Windows Media Player from Windows Features. Still...
