I don't know if i'm just stupid, but i can't find any way to manually add the dvds i have on my sheves.

It would be great to be able to browse all my movies regardless of format when deciding what to watch. Is this a feature you're planning on implementing?

MyFilms is a plugin to display all information of your movie collection (movies can be on HD, CD, DVD....). At the beginning that plugin was based on AMC (ANT Movie Catakig) a freeware for managing movie collection with a lot of scripts to grab information over the Net. That soft works with a database file as xml format (or a proprietary one). Myfilms display within MP informations of that xml file.
Now you also can populate your movie collection with AMCUpdater within MP (no need to go in the setup as you can launch AMCUpdater in batch mode from MyFilms).

MyFilms has the ability to store "offline" movies available as DVD disc (no image stored on your PC).
Moving Pictures is mainly aimed at identifying and organizing your "online" movie collection, stored on your PC('s)
There has previously been something mentioned about this feature, but can't recollect. Sry
Then again Moving Pictures works perfect :D You just have to rip the dvd to iso on your system.

The thing is they are Blu-rays and i don't have a BD-rom on my computer and i really really like the way Moving Pictures gathers information, it's very very smooth. But i found a way around it. I renamed some .nfo files to the same names as my disks and scanned that folder and marked as removable then deleted the folder. That worked pretty good actually. The option to add offline discs would just make it a little bit easier.
