Manually specifying a mediaportal 2 server ip on a client-only installation (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

I'm giving MP2 a try (upgraded from MP1), however i cant find any setting where i can manually specify an MP2 server.

The autodetect fails as my MP2 server is on a different subnet (on the other end of a 100mbit fibre link). My MP2 server internal ip is 10.61.12.222/24 and my MP2 Client ip is 10.20.20.20/24.

Is there a hidden text box somewhere that i can use to just enter an IP like on MP1?

I'm afraid that this combination won't work. The components need to be in same subnet, because the communication also uses UPnP multicasts, and they are only possible within a subnet.
