Hi

It has been possible to control Windows Master Volume in Xp from MediaPortal, But in Vista and Windows 7 It is not possible.
This patch will enable controlling Master Volume and Master Volume mute in Vista & 7. I would appreciate for some testing, and that it won't create any new problems.

After applying this patch you can change which line to control in Mediaportal in configuration.exe->General->Volume Settings->Wave or Master Volume. Wave acts as it does now in Windows Vista and 7, Master Volume changes MediaPortal to control Master volume.

EDIT:
Fixed, loading Volume scale setting. It was forced to Win 7 style when no Master Volume control was available.
Added, core.dll and configuration.exe builded against Git branch.
Removed last, Me and Git are not compatible
Second try. These should work with 1.2.2.0 I hope.
Hah. Once again. Git is pain to me, 1.2.3.rar shoud be fine now

This is a MediaPortal 2 forum and the patch is for MediaPortal 1, isn't it?

This patch has a bug ;-) I can now select Custom Scale under Win 7 but then i click save and go back to config it just shows me Scale: Windows Vista / Win 7.

Hi there.

You have to compile it by yourself With Visual Studio.
Or I can compile it for you. You can then copy provided dll into Mp installation folder.
Backup existing core.dll before overwriting with my version.

You are using 1.2Beta I see. Is this correct?

I cannot build it for you, before late in evening, cos Im at work now.
