    Hi there,

I just finished it (just for fun :)) :
0002378: timeshift folder setup should be moved under general/timeshifting - MediaPortal Bugtracker

But, I saw it is chemelli assigned.
Are you interested with or not, because maybe chemelli already began it ?

    Screenshots :
1/ Modified General settings. (No Timeshifting tab anymore).
2/ Modified Recording folders. (No Timeshift information anymore).
3/ New Timeshifting folders tab in Timeshifting settings section.
4/ New Timeshifting tab in Timeshifting settings section.

PS : I'm absolutely null in Photoshop then, screenshots are not modified by retouching software Image. :)

    OK, here is the patch.

    - New 3 files wich are in .rar archive should be added in \TVEngine3\TVLibrary\SetupTv\Sections\ folder.

    Edit :
    Added ScanSettings.Designer.cs.patch, ScanSettings.cs.patch
    Updated New Files.rar
    Edit2 :
    Updated TvRecording.Designer.cs.patch for overlap.

    Regards.

Well, you are right, I suppose you mean this part ? (see screenshot).
If so, sorry, I didn't noticed it before. (TVE2 was great and I'm still a bit noob in TVE3, isn't it ?) ;)
I will try to do it ASAP.

    Regards.

    EPG too?

Sorry for little offtopic but I think the same thing should be done for EPG too.. that part has always been confusing as EPG settings are all around in different menu locations :)

    @MP devs :
I just discovered another little bug (overlap in screenshot 1).
    I fixed it (screenshot 2).
Since it's the same classe, I updated #3 post again with TvRecording.Designer.cs.patch
(I will not create another thread only for it).

    risu :
I suppose you talk about screenshots 3, 4, 5 and, you would like to have a specific EPG section ?
IMHO, both solutions seems logical then, it depends on MP Team choice/preference, finally.

    Bye.

i like very much the idea of organizing the structure of tvserver configuration, thanks framug.

and i must agree with risu, maybe EPG should have a dedicated section, the idea should be..."i want to setup EPG" ... then just go to the EPG section, and not 3 different ones all around.

if we go that way, we need to remember about xmltvplugin. A link in the new EPG section will help n00bie users.
