Maya & StreamedMP on same system - any issues/conflicts? (1 Viewer)

I'd like to try out Maya, but worried as I currently have a nice working system with StreamedMP and dont want to break anything

Can I install Maya without screwing up StreamedMP? I know the skin part is fine as its self contained - but what about all the other plugins and such that Maya (and streamedmp) install? I guess I dont want versions of plugins to be supported in one, and not the other

You can choose which plugins to install, so when installing Maya just uncheck the plugins such as MyTVSeries, MovingPictures etc and all should be fine, you could also take a backup of your plugins folder prior to installing just in case the Maya installer does overwrite any of them.
